Information we collect

• Account information, such as email address, account id, verification state, plan, and account timestamps.
• Authentication and security records, such as session metadata, failed-login counters, audit events, and request ids.
• Billing records from our provider, such as subscription status, customer/subscription ids, invoice or event ids, and payment-state updates.
• Product usage data, such as scan requests, presets, chart settings, feature-snapshot selections, job status, and diagnostic request ids.
• Support information you choose to send us, such as screenshots, request ids, messages, and issue descriptions.

Payment information

Payments are processed by our billing provider. qscanner.io does not store full card numbers. We receive billing status and identifiers needed to grant access, reconcile subscriptions, handle failed payments, and provide support.

How we use information

We use information to provide the service, authenticate users, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, operate rate limits, debug reliability issues, answer support requests, maintain audit evidence, improve the product, and comply with legal, tax, vendor, and security obligations.

Sharing

We share information with service providers that help operate qscanner.io, including hosting, email, billing, storage, logging, security, and support providers. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and security, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal information as a standalone business.

Cookies and local storage

The app uses cookies and browser storage for authentication, account sessions, preferences, pending checkout state, theme settings, and product settings. Disabling cookies may prevent the app from working.

Export, deletion, and retention

Signed-in users can export support-safe account data and request account deletion from the app. Deletion revokes sessions and removes the account while preserving limited hashed-email audit evidence where needed for security, billing, legal, or abuse-prevention records. Security

We use technical and operational safeguards, including hashed passwords, session controls, support-safe exports, audit logging, and least-privilege support practices. No internet service can be guaranteed perfectly secure.

Children

qscanner.io is not intended for children under 18. Do not use qscanner.io if you are not legally able to manage a paid research-tooling subscription in your jurisdiction.
